Azaan movie review: A most expensive action thriller

The movie Azzan is debut venture for South African model Candice Boucher and Sachiin J Joshi of Energy Drinks. Duo are playing the lead character in the film.

The movie Azaan is dubbed as one of the most expensive films in Bollywood.

First thing first: Starcast of the movie Azaan:

Sachiin J Joshi has been playing a character of A azaan Khan. A young army officer, who works for India's Research and Analysis Wing.

Candice Boucher as Afreen: She is a sand-artist and she grounds A azaan with human emotions of love.

Dalip Tahil as Mahfouz, who is a savant on a mission and is trying to save world from being destroyed by Doctor.

Arya Babbar as Imaad is a misled but passionate man.

Ravi Kissen as Pandey: A controversial RAW officer.

Sachin Khedekar as Home Minister.

Sajid Hassan as Doctor: He is ex-CIA and into biological warfare and is determined to carry out the absolute annihilation of India.


Azaan Movie review:

The action thriller is based on biological warfare. The movie revolves around A azaan (Sachiin J Joshi) plays an informant, who has to go undercover beyond enemy lines to save the country from the threat of biological warfare.

The Young Army officer Azaan is on a mission to find out his missing brother, who is a terrorist and save the country from biological warfare.

Actually, it is a story of a man's determination to save his country from the clutches of militants in any odd circumstances. In this process he meets Afreen, who forces  Azaan to realise that he too is vulnerable emotions. One of the dialogues truly displays the character of Azaan in which he says, "Log kahtein hain ki Mujh pe Allah ka hath hai (People say that I have blessings of God).

However, the movie invited controversy over its title Azaan. Some Muslim groups have objection over the holy word 'Azaan' is used for a movie inspired from terrorism.

In one word for movie, “The action lover will love it but if you want a story, you will come out with empty hand.”
