Australian actress Toni Collette is facing a multi-million dollar legal battle over a failed property deal.
The 40-year-old "Sixth Sense" star and her husband Dave Galafassi have been sued over claims that they agreed to buy a house in Sydney, Australia last year for 4.1 million pounds, but pulled out when their own home failed to sell, reported online media.
Susan and Nick Kelly, the creators of Australian fashion brand Industrie, have filed a suit against the couple, claiming they lost money when they eventually sold the five-bedroom property in Paddington due to a fall in house prices.
They are suing the couple for 1.06 million pounds, whichmincludes a petition to keep the deposit paid by Collette and her husband, as well as the loss they suffered in the sale.
