Meanwhile, an inquiry has been ordered into the matter to probe the reason behind crash.

The HAL Rotary Wing Academy, Bangalore was established in February 2000 for helicopter flying training of abinitio civil pilot trainees.
Academy was inspected and approved by the Director General Civil Aviation of India on February 14, 2000.
