A massive fire on Wednesday broke out in a steel factory in Samaypur Badali industrial area in North West Delhi.
The incident took place around 11 am in the morning when the workers were on duty inside the factory.
Suddenly a massive fire broke out due to a shot circuit and immediately spreaded to other sites , the employees said.
The fire was so dangerous that seven fire tenderswere pushed into the services to douse the fire, the fire fighter officials said.
The process of controlling the fire was underway but it was not yet completely controlled.
Properties worth lakh were gutted, the factory owner said.
A short circuit had broken out the fire an hour after the factory was opened in the morning, he added.
No one was injured in the incident, he added.
