Honor killing in Chandigarh

A case of honour killing has surfaced from Punjab University in Chandigarh where a girl has been killed on Thursday.

Sudden death of Shama Shukla, a PhD student has raised many questions. Shama’s friends claimed that her parents have killed her for their honor and prestige. Shama’s friends have also filed a complaint in Human Rights Commission for justice.

The fact is that Shama wanted to marry her classmate. The family did not accept it as boy belonged to lower caste.

People of Chandigarh have come on the street to protest against Shama’s honor killing.

Abolish the Caste. Those who use word Caste must be given Hard Labour Jail Terms. Caste not only divides each other but also bring hatred among each other.
