India registered first victory in the CB triangular series after thrashing Sri Lanka by four wickets in the 2nd match.

Sri Lanka set a target of 234 runs before India to win the 2nd ODI here at WACA ground in Perth on Wednesday.

Sri Lankan skipper Mahela Jayawardene won the crucial toss against India and decided to bat and put good total on board.

Two rivals of sub-continent, India and Sri Lanka, are set to establish their supremacy in cricket ground in the 2nd ODI here at WACA in Perth on Wednesday.

This match will be crucial for Team India after humiliating defeat in the opening match against Australia.

India’s blistering opener Virender Sehwag returned in the side after being rested in the first ODI. Gautam Gambhir made the way for Sehwag. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who is awaiting elusive 100th international ton, will open with Sehwag for the first time after ICC World Cup 2011.

As the both sides are playing against each other for the first time after ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, it is expected to be even fight.
