Unidentified gunmen shot and killed a man at Saraghorai on the outskirts of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province,late last night, police officials said.
The man's body was handed over to his relatives after an autopsy.The cause of the murder could not immediately be ascertained.
In a separate incident, two men were injured in a shooting in Akhtarabad area of Quetta today. Gunmen riding a motorcycle fired at the two men. The gunmen fled after the attack.
The injured men were taken to Bolan Medical College Hospital, where doctors described their condition as serious.
On Tuesday ,a bicycle bomb apparently targeting security forces killed two people and injured at least nine others in Pakistan’s troubled southwestern province of Balochistan.
The device exploded on the road from Balochistan’s provincial capital Quetta to the airport as a convoy of the government paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) passed nearby.
