No sensitive information related to Iran's nuclear inspection was included in the information stolen in a hacking incident involving one of its servers, the head of the UN nuclear agency said.

Yukiya Amano, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said in an interview with Kyodo News and other media yesterday that it is highly likely that the server concerned did not contain any such information.

The server was hacked into several months ago and has since been shut down, he said, adding that no leakage of confidential information had been confirmed to date.

The incident was first reported by the agency on Tuesday.    Last Sunday, the hackers posted on a website a number of email addresses of experts who have been working with the UN agency as well as satellite images and a partial list of IAEA employees, and urged the IAEA to investigate Israel's nuclear activity.
